21 Savage is in Megan Thee Stallion’s corner. Hot New Hip Hop picked up on a tweet from the rapper – who was formerly in a relationship with Amber Rose – in which he proclaimed his support for the injured “Savage” artist.
In case you missed it, Megan Thee Stallion was reportedly shot in the foot by Tory Lanez after spending a few weeks hanging out with him. It’s not entirely clear if the rumors are true, however, Megan did say she was shot by someone who intended harm, and Tory was also arrested on gun possession charges.
This comes around the same time as 50 Cent’s Instagram post in which he publicly apologized for joking about her predicament. Curtis Jackson – also known as 50 Cent – said on IG that he didn’t even think the reports were real.
Regardless, Megan has released a number of social media posts in which she has addressed the controversy. More importantly, Megan explained how she had to undergo a surgical operation to have bullets removed from her foot.

On the 27th of July, for instance, Megan took to her Instagram Live account again to shed tears and talk about what happened to her. She also grieved for the loss of her mother.
If you’ve been following the controversy at all, you’d know the fan response to the reports were mostly jokes and memes, however, with time, it’s clear people have been taking it a lot more seriously. In fact, some are taking it very seriously.
For instance, angry Megan Thee Stallion fans created a petition on Change’s website calling for the Toronto artist’s deportation from the United States of America. As it was noted above, 21 Savage also joined the ranks of celebrities who expressed his support for Megan.
He wrote on his account that he wishes he could’ve “given Megan a hug, praying for you.” Stars such as Lil’ Yachty did the same thing, however, many social media users accused such men of merely trying to romance Megan Thee Stallion because she’s a hot item these days.
