Gelatissimo will expand its existing vegan range with two new nostalgic and creamy flavours, launching this month. The new flavours include Choc Cookies & Cream and Strawberries & Cream Tart. Both flavours have been formulated with a perfectly balanced combination of coconut and soy milk, providing a great creamy alternative to traditional gelato.
Choc Cookies & Cream is made up with a rich vegan chocolate biscuit gelato folded and sprinkled with chocolate biscuit pieces throughout. Its flavour profile is inspired by the well-loved Cookies & Cream, but blending 100% pure Callebaut cocoa powder gives this flavour-packed vegan gelato a more decadent chocolate twist.
The rich and creamy Strawberries and Cream Tart, inspired by baked strawberry tarts, is made up of layers of creamy vegan strawberries and cream gelato, as well as chunks of real strawberry and caramel tart, crumbled throughout.
Speaking about the new vegan flavours, Gelatissimo CEO, Filipe Barbosa said “We’re seeing more and more demand for flavours that cater to a wide range of health and dietary preferences, which was the catalyst for introducing alternative gelato options. With our vegan flavours taking up 22% of the entire range available, we’re proud to have flavours that suit all dietary requirements’.
Due to popular demand, Gelatissimo has also brought back its vegan Caramel Mud Cake flavour. A creamy vegan gelato flavoured with caramelised sugar and loaded with chunks of golden-brown vegan caramel mud cake. Available at select stores only.
Joining Gelatissimo’s existing vegan range, including award-winning mango sorbet and Raspberry sorbet, the two new vegan flavours will be available for a limited time only across all Australian stores from Friday 28th August.
