Precision pulses, crop tour results, and finally some eastern rain! – RealAgriculture

[ad_1]

It’s the Tuesday after the August long weekend (if you’re Canadian), and we’ve got a great show lined up for you today! Since we didn’t have an agronomic Monday show for you yesterday, today’s show will be jam-packed with all things agronomy. In this episode, you’ll hear:

  • RealAgriculture’s resident agronomist Peter “Wheat Pete” Johnson, on the recent rain that parts of Ontario got — whether or not it saved the corn crop and what it might mean for those that opted out of spraying a fungicide on their corn this year.
  • Scott Gillespie, independent agronomist with Plants Dig Soil, on some of the  research he’s been doing in terms of precision planting pulse crops; and
  • Neil Townsend, of FarmLink Marketing Solutions, on their annual crop tour, and some of the results the agronomists found across western Canada.
